for the first time in ages i actually put effort into my dw layout

I used to have a TEMPLATE SET UP which was just the Customise page screencapped for like, changing colours and everything so I knew what this colour and that one corresponded to and could just plonk those down in MS Paint and all that fun shit.

I used to do LAYOUT BANNERS with a matching default icon and a userinfo banner... The entire layout would be THEMED AROUND A SONG.

Would spend hours on it lmao and then change it like two months later.

I would swatch the colours from the banner and use those for the layout colours.

SO TODAY I THOUGHT I could use a different layout because I do get bored and fatigued of it after a while right

soooo I went through my tags and did some housecleaning

Merged a bunch and tried to create some sort of "system", if you will, I guess...

If a tag begins with an ! then that means it needs to be categorized into a tag that probably already exists but I didn't feel like searching through 600+ tags at that moment to find it (but can merge or rename later)... It might also stay that way depending.

If a tag begins with an # that can either be something that will be categorized or merged later on into a (better) tag...or it's me commenting (a la Tumblr tags) on things.

If a tag begins with a category like feeling: or school: then that is an actual tag that will either be merged with one of the above or something will be created to fit within those parameters.

There are still others I need to merge and rename and create but...for now... This should work better.

A lot of the general fanfiction tags (like fanfiction: gundam wing) have been merged into the respective fandom category (in this example, fandom: gundam wing) because, well, talking about fanfiction is talking about fandom, right? It's a fandom activity. The only time there are really any separate ones is if I am talking about individual fics.

(I didn't finish merging all of these just yet but that is my plan.)

So yeah!

I also changed up some of the layout colours so no you are not imagining things.
