omaewokorosuOkay, so one of my favourite Weiss songs is Beautiful Alone, and as luck would have it, it's the first ending song for Kapitel. Which is where I heard it originally in the first place.
If you saw my review for Velvet Underworld, then you'll know this will be similar to that. There's only so much commentary I can give for an opening or an ending, so. I'm doing this just so all of my bases are covered.
I do not have the textless versions on my computer, and I didn't feel like screencapping from my DVDs, so just deal with the text for now.
Well this is exciting.
Seeing all sorts of disclaimers for Weiss Kreuz fanfiction wherein the author is all IDK WHO MADE WEISS KREUZ BUT I DIDN'T SO THERE NYAH makes me wonder if they, uh, skipped the credits from episode one or they weren't paying attention or something because, uh, the first thing we're given in the credits is...who made Weiss Kreuz in the first place. It's not that hard to remember Koyasu's name, especially since he's also the voice of Aya.
Although I'd rather you just go IDK WHO MADE WEISS KREUZ BUT IT'S NOT MINE than say things like WELL SOME GUY NAMED TAKAHITO/TAKAHIRO/WHATEVER KOYASU MADE IT
do not be like Endless Waltz and spell his name 'Takahito'. It's "Takehito". FIVE SECONDS ON GOOGLE. FIVE SECONDS.
ahem.
In case you couldn't tell, it's spinning in a circle.
Also why do I suspect that a lot of the extras' names were also the names of people who worked on Weiss Kreuz? Should I have that feeling?

One thing that bothers me is a certain author in Weiss Kreuz fandom who has the penchant for spouting crap that is rather off-base about various characters in Weiss Kreuz, and one of the things aforementioned author likes to spout is how Yohji has no tattoos. Because, you know, sometimes authors like to give their characters tattoos, so when people describe Yohji's canonical tattoo, she gets all pissed off and goes off on how he has none.
I think she's just too busy looking at Ken to notice much else, tbh. Must be that tunnel vision.
This is one of my favourite lines in the song, btw. :D
Speaking of Kenken...
Ken's not bad looking, really, and as of right now, he's the most normal out of all of Weiss--he's pretty much confronted his inner demons, whereas everyone else has yet to, and they pick up some along the way. Ken just...eventually loses sight of himself. I still like Yohji more, but meh. Weiss is growing on me.
I will always love Schwarz more, though.
That's what Aya wears under his Trenchcoat of A Million Buckles, btw.

why do Schreient get to be in the ending credits, but Schwarz do not? what crap is this.
see Aya you can dress in things aside from orange sweaters!
and this is Aya-chan. Even she gets to be in the ending credits, but Schwarz do not?! ffff.

However, I do feel a bit of a jab in my conscience when/if not mentioning the creator of the designs for Kapitel, since that particular ownership debate is what caused Glühen to look like it does. :P
